As the final hours of 2024 ticked away, Megan and Tyler threw an unforgettable New Year’s Eve bash at The Heirloom at N.K. Hurst in downtown Indianapolis, turning their wedding into the ultimate celebration. Surrounded by 170 of their closest family and friends, the couple created a night filled with elegance, festive cheer, and a touch of vintage glamour—a perfect reflection of the timeless charm we hold dear at The Heirloom.
The day kicked off with the bridal party getting ready in our bridal suite, popping champagne and sharing laughs before the festivities began. Guests arrived to a warm welcome, complete with coat check services and an inviting vibe that set the stage for an epic evening.
The ceremony was a stylish affair, with the couple exchanging vows surrounded by candlelight and chic décor. Straight rows of seating created an intimate, cozy atmosphere, with gold and ivory accents hinting at the celebration ahead.
After the ceremony, the evening transitioned seamlessly into a lively cocktail hour. Crystal’s award winning catering team served delectable hors d’oeuvres, including Bang Bang Shrimp Skewers, Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls, and Tuscan Bruschetta. These passed bites were enjoyed alongside the couple’s specialty cocktail, the classic and refreshing Moscow Mule.
Guests mingled and soaked in the stunning setup, featuring a mix of farmhouse tables and round tables dressed in ivory satin linens. White napkins and gold chargers added a sleek touch to each place setting, while glittering disco balls overhead cast a party-ready glow across the black-and-white checkered dance floor.
The reception space truly came to life as the evening unfolded. White votives and floral centerpieces with gold accents graced each table, creating a stylish yet confident aesthetic. Dinner was served with precision and care by Crystal, featuring a Fall Harvest Salad and entrée options such as Feta and Asparagus Stuffed Chicken Breast or Garlic Bistro Tender Medallions, accompanied by herb-seasoned broccolini and roasted garlic mashed potatoes.
The couple hit the dance floor for their first dance beneath twinkling disco balls, kicking off the night with a moment everyone could feel. Heartfelt toasts and parent dances followed, filling the room with cheers, laughter, and all the energy of a New Year’s Eve celebration.
To keep the celebration going strong, Kilroy’s breadsticks were served as a late-night snack—a fun and delicious way to keep guests fueled on the dance floor. As midnight drew closer, the energy in the room built to a crescendo. Heirloom’s new Mirror TVs displayed a countdown to 2025, adding a modern, yet elegant, celebratory touch to the festivities.
Champagne was passed at 11:45 p.m., ensuring everyone had a glass in hand for the big moment. When the clock struck midnight, cheers erupted, and the room filled with the sound of clinking glasses, streamers, and well-wishes for Megan and Tyler. The couple’s private last dance at 12:30 a.m. brought the evening to a heartfelt close, a quiet moment of connection before embarking on their new life together.
